Kaydo, born Thami Rapotapi and also known as Lukee Shaheed and T Spoon, is a South African hip-hop emcee, producer, songwriter, sound engineer, and entrepreneur. Widely respected as one of the pioneers of independent South African hip-hop, he is the founder of Chronic Kultcha Entertainment, an independent record label and music collective established in 1999.
For more than two decades, Kaydo has remained committed to authentic lyricism, boom-bap production, artist development, and independent music ownership. Based in Vaal, he continues to influence the country’s hip-hop culture through music, production, mentorship, and media.

Founded in 1999, Chronic Kultcha Entertainment was created as an independent platform dedicated to authentic South African hip-hop.
